中車資陽機車有限公司澳大利亞機車空調機組KLD5.0，采用半封閉往復式壓縮機，制冷劑為氧利昂R134a，在各種惡劣環境良好的運行。
澳大利亞機車空調機組主要部件包括半封閉往復式壓縮機、蒸發器、冷凝器、干燥過濾器、軸流式冷凝風機、離心式通風機、電加熱器、高壓壓力開關、低壓壓力開關等部件組成的空調系統，空調機組系統結構緊湊，性能穩定，能夠在有風、細塵、暴雨、雪天氣狀況、沙漠地區及其他存在污染物的環境中正常工作。機車空調機組采用SUS304不銹鋼板制成，機械強度高、耐磨性強、表面平整度小于1mm。制冷系統部件及配管采用銀纖焊連接，空調機組設計為頂置單元式，出風口設在機組的底部，新風口設在機組的兩側，回風口設在機組底部，新風口和回風口處均裝有過濾網，并且過濾網可重復清洗并易于拆裝，滿足當地風沙環境的要求。

The air condifioning unit system has a compact structure and stable pertormance. lt can work normaly in windy, fine dustheavy rcain, snowy weather conclfions, desert areas and other environments with polutants. The locomotive air conditioning unit is made oiSUS304 stainless steel plate, wit high mechanical strength, strong wear resistance, and surace flatnes es than 1mm. The cooling systemcomponents and piping are connected by silver brazing. The ai-conditioning unit is designed as a top-mounted unit, The air outlet is locatedat the botom of the unit. the fresh cir outlet is ocated on both sides of the unit, the return air inlet is ocated at the bottom of the unit. Afresh air outle and the return air outlet are equipped with a fiter, and the flter can be cleaned repeatedly and easly disassembled to meetthe requirements of the local wind and sand environment.
